Library Staff
Mr. Vasta, MSLS — Library Media Specialist Edward R. Vasta started his teaching career in 1990. He graduated with a 4.0 average and was the Valedictorian at L.I.U. C.W. Post with a B.A. in History and Education in 1989. In 1990, he attended L.I.U.’s Palmer School of Library and Information Science on a full scholarship and graduated with an M.S.L.S. He has N.Y. State certification in Social Studies 7-12 and School Library Media K-12. He worked as a librarian in Uniondale (K-6), Columbus H.S. in the Bronx and at Freeport High School before coming to work at Manhasset High School in 1995. Mrs. Burstein — Library Media Specialist and Library T.A. Marcia Burstein holds a B.A. cum laude from University of Buffalo in Spanish and an M.S.L.S from L.I.U.’s Palmer School of Library and Information Science. She has N.Y.
